    Based in the East Bay, Nextsport is driven to get everyone, enjoying the outdoors! We’ve currently established four brands to do just that, producing pro scooters, balance bikes, commuting scooters, and more! We manage all stages of our product’s lifecycle from design and manufacturing, to sales and marketing. Our brands sell in major retailers in the US and worldwide.

    Customer Service Professional

    When was the last time you had a great customer service experience?

    Was it face to face with a particularly caring individual or over the phone with someone who worked hard to understand your needs? What about email? It can be extremely hard to solve a problem quickly and efficiently through email.

    Despite this, companies today rely heavily on chat, email, and social media to serve their customers. The question is, how do we adapt to this faceless approach to customer service and show our customers we genuinely care for them and their needs?

    Are you driven to go above and beyond to show our customers that no matter how they reach out, they’ll reach a real person who’s ready to help find a solution to their needs?

    Primary Responsibilities – Is this You?

    • You’ve developed a strong written voice through the use of social media, writing emails, and formal writing
    • You have a strong command of the English language
    • You have a high level of initiative – you seek out projects and tackle them enthusiastically
    • Organization is key, as they say a cluttered house is a cluttered mind and you love nothing more than to roll up your sleeves and get things cleaned up and put away
    • A master of prioritization, you’ll be able to answer phones, emails, reviews, etc. in a timely manner
    • You’ll fulfill customer orders daily, ship small parcels, and order warranty parts as needed
    • Taking apart a scooter and putting it back together doesn’t scare you, in fact you have at least a little mechanical experience in other arenas

    · You have 2 or more years of related office experience

    · You’re weekend flexible

    Nice to haves:

    · A love of action sports is definitely a plus!

    · Previous customer service experience in a retail/office environment

    · Experience with Zendesk

    · College degree preferred
